Exciting News Yall!!!
I was just asked to be on the Passion Committee for American Heart Association! I am so excited to be able to join in on this opportunity! I had my first conference call today where I got to learn about other women on the committee and upcoming events in my area! We are having our meeting next month, and I can not wait to meet all of the other members!! My posts about the committee on Facebook even inspired Miss Denton to participate in the committee as well! I am so excited for this incredible adventure we are about to embark on!

Hello Loved Ones!
I hope your having a blessed day! On Feb 15th I attended an event for Living For Zachary! For those of you who dont know, their mission is to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest and save lives through community education and awareness events, promoting youth heart screenings, awarding student scholarships and donating automated external defibrillators (AEDs) that can help save the life of someone that has collapsed due to sudden cardiac arrest. I manned the American Heart Association booth and got to inform people about new upcoming legislation that is important to AHA and the importance of early detection of congenital defects.

Hello Amazing supporters!
On Sunday Feb 10th, I was invited to attend Sisterbrations "Little Red Dress Party" promoting awareness of heart disease as the number one killer of women. I got to meet my sister titleholders and make some really great connections in the community! We even got the chance to model some really cool jewelry that is made by a heart attack survivor! I brought some "Swag" for the gift bags, which was donated by Advisors Integrity! So, a big thank you to them for their generosity. I hope to be invited to more events of theirs in the future!!!

Go Red For Women Luncheon Dallas!
Hello Loves!
On Friday Feb 1st, I had the wonderful oppertunity to volunteer with my platform the American Heart Association at their 10 year anniversary of Go Red for Women! I got there early to help set up tables and put gift cards at every table! I then proceeded to the bangle bar, where I was able to give out special Light up red bracelets to donors! It was an awesome oppertunity to newtork about the Texas International Pageants and my personal platform, the AHA! Among the attendees was former first lady Laura Bush, she made a very humorous speech about life returning to "normal" and then her passion for womans heart health! I was also thrilled to meet the current Mrs. Texas International and her sweet mother!
