In preparation for American Heart Associations HUGE coutes de quor party this weekend, a bunch of us volunteers got together to make the decorations for the party! We had a wonderful time making bowtie napkins! (It was very difficult!) But hey, anything is possible when your being served wine and cheese!! lol Although, I stayed away from both! lol

Red Ice Premier Party Crossroads Winery
Crossroads Winery in Frisco Texas introduced a new wine called "Red Ice" The owner of the winery recently had heart surgery and wanted to find a way to give back! SO he invited me to make a speech about healthy living and risk factors! He also donated a portion of the sales of Red Ice to the American Heart Association!
Epilepsy Foundation of Texas Dinner
I was so excited to be invited to the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas's Dinner! It was national wear purple day ( Purple is their color) and the dinner was at the purple cow! I got to meet some young ladies dealing with epilepsy and hear how this Foundation is bringing more awareness to their issues!
They were such an inspiration!!

HeartBeat 5K
What an early morning it was!!!!! I got up at the crack of dawn to take the dart down to Dallas Presbyterian Hospital for their annual 5K!!! WE waited several hours in the rain but it just wouldn't let up! The run was unfortunately canceled, but I still had a great time greeting hospital staff, and runners who didn't care that it was raining!! I also got to spend time at the American Heart Association booth as part of my passion committee duties!!
Hope Park Silent Auction and Dinner!
I had the most amazing opportunity recently. I got to be part of one of the most amazing organizations right here in Texas! Hope Park! Hope Park is a non profit organization that is building a handicapable park in Frisco Texas (right outside of Dallas). We held a dinner and silent Auction/ Raffle to raise money for the build! My family is even going to get our name on a plank at the park! It was such an amazing event, the community has really come together for a great cause!!!
