American Heart Association Lobby Day!

Hello amazing supporters!

 

On Tuesday I got to travel to Austin ( the state capitol) to attend American Heart Associations Lobby Day! American Heart Association in supporting a very important bill focusing on teaching kids in grades 7-12 CPR before they graduate from highschool! As it stands, your chances of surviving a sudden cardiac arrest outside of the hospital are only 11%!!!!!! With tons of newly trained students around, we are hoping to increase the survival rate! I would have loved to have been trained basic CPR techniques inn Highschool! I encourage you to reach out to your lawmakers and tell them how you feel about this bill! Its currently in front of the education committee!
